His right hand and arm have been affected by someone taking some of his color, but it looks worse than it feels.]

[He'd offer a hand for a shake or...well, do pretty much anything above and beyond just holding this box with its kitten inside, but the kitten is pretty much taking priority at this point and so he mostly just tilts it toward Rin for a look, trying not to gawk himself at the absurdity of the furniture around the cafe.]

[All in all, she seems a cat with a pleasant enough temperament — laid-back enough that she'll nose at Rin's fingers without hesitation, and content to close her eyes and lean into the chin rubs when they're offered.]
[Rin isn't entirely human, and while demons might be something humans fear most animals aren't terribly bothered by them. In fact a lot of animals seem to be right at home with demons, and Ayame appears to be no different. This is now catdad, inhuman or not.]

[He gives her a few more pets with his finger before carefully moving his hand beneath her belly, lifting her out with ease. She's so light, barely feels like she's there, giving him all the more reason to be gentle and cautious.]
