For sparring, though, you’re going up against me. That’s the only way I could say you could avoid holding back. I’ll explain it more in person. I won’t rush you into this, since it’s something you should prepare for unless you want to get your ass handed to you, so let me know when you’re ready.

basically where im from theres two worlds assiah and gehenna
assiah is the world of humans and gehenna is something like a mirror to it but where demons are from
demons are a lot of things just like humans so its really hard to explain them simply?
but basically demons want to be in assiah even though they cant really survive in assiah so they possess people and animals and other things
but sometimes they have children with humans which is what happened with me and my brother
im really strong, i can heal really fast and i can control fire
i was also training to use a sword back home

He's actually taking a break from cooking when Kaoru comes around, sitting on the counter and dragging a makeshift string toy along the ground while Ayame chases it back and forth excitedly.

[Shiho had disappeared. She shouldn't be sad about that because she was...she was home.

Except home wasn't safe and while Aoi and Mio and everyone else was there, Kaoru wasn't there.

Still, she did her best to keep smiling, to be upbeat and not give any indication that she was scared or hurt or lonely.

In the end though, she wanders into Rin's room one night and curls up beside him in bed. She's not even awake at all. She just instinctively sought out a place where she can sleep where she won't be alone.]

[Rin is not a light sleeper. When he goes to sleep he's out. Yukio has literally carried him from one room to another without Rin even so much as stirring.

Hence when Kaoru does that, he barely moves. It doesn't help that things in Chroma have just been utterly exhausting lately, making him even less likely to be startled by a presence crawling in to his bed.

He does eventually slip out of REM sleep, and in between dreams he realizes there's a warmth next to him that wasn't normally there. He grumbles and sits up halfway, eyes focusing quickly in the dark to make out a mess of long red hair.]

[The whole 'dolls climbing out of the well' thing left him unable to come over, and then he had to wait for the medicine to wear off but here he finally is.

Which is why there's what looks like a five year old knocking on the door today. There is, of course, a jar of caramels.]

[It was earlier than Rin would normally have the doors open, but he was awake and in the middle of prepping for just that.

The knock caught him off guard, and he opened the door with a confused look and a towel in his hands.

A look that was even more confused given that it was a child standing there with the jar of caramels.]
